We stopped here on our way to Niagara Falls not really expecting anything special but we thought we could get in some bike riding and it was by the water so that’s always a plus.
After riding along the waterfront we started noticing these frog statues.
So after a little research I found out that there was a project call Leap Frog to raise money for the schools. Then we started seeing them everywhere.
One of their treasures is Presque Isle. Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula that arches into Lake Erie. As Pennsylvania’s only “seashore,” Presque Isle offers its visitors a beautiful coastline and many recreational activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling, and in-line skating. We loved the 13 mile bike trail. Along the trail we saw this pretty lighthouse for a rest stop.
Then we rode along the water front.
And it was time to pack up and move on to Niagara Falls for our next stop.
